Oprah Winfrey is known for giving mind-blowing gifts in a major way and her best friend, Gayle King is the latest 'victim'.

Gayle, who has been in a long-lasting friendship with Oprah since 1976 and also the editor-at-large for Oprah Magazine, was uber surprised when she walked in on an unplanned bash that was thrown in her honor last Tuesday at New York’s Pier 59. Gayle turns 60 come Dec 28 but her media mogul bestie, who turned the big 6-0 earlier this year, couldn't resist throwing her an early surprise bash.
