Larry Hester, 66 has been completely blind for half his life but now, after undergoing a revolutionary surgery where an electronic stimulator was surgically implanted in his left eye, he can see again.
This amazing technology was implemented for the first time in Duke Eye Centre, North Carolina and when eye surgeon Dr Paul Hahn turned it on for the first time, this is when the magic happened to Larry who had been blind for half his life from a condition called RETINITIS PIGMENTOSA.
